4 ingredient peanut butter balls

January 17, 2020

Do you have kids that like to help in the kitchen? Do you want to get your kids more involved in your healthy eating?

Last year, we started homeschooling. Our kids are 10, 6 and a toddler. I love being able to customize their curriculum. For us, we include a lot of life skills as part of our curriculum, not limited to cooking, cleaning, finances and so much more. So much of these skills are being skipped or skimmed over in regular schools, we wanted to put an strong importance on them.

I know a lot of twenty somethings that have no idea how to cook and we wonder why the obesity rate is through the roof.

I want my kids to know how to make their own breakfast, before they get to high school. I want my kids to know how to discern on what a healthy snack is and how to prepare it.

Kid-friendly PB balls

My daughter picked this recipe and loved helping making this it.
These make a great after school snack or sweet treat.

3 cups rolled oats
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
{optional} 1/3 cup Reese’s pieces or m&ms.
Mix all ingredients. Roll into balls and chill for 10 minutes
